Hi, my name is Fabiana

Fabiana da Silva Alves, PhD

I am the founder of Within & Beyond and dedicated to guiding individuals on an inner journey toward personal growth and transformation. I’m interested in contributing to a movement for meaningful and long lasting changes. I believe that we must be the change that we want to see in the world, and that by going within one can expand and go beyond. I also provide consultancy and training to mental health professionals and coaches.

My approach is holistic, heart-centered, psycho-spiritual, and scientific. It is based on ancient traditions, psychedelic science, humanistic and transpersonal psychology. It integrates models of psychedelic-assisted therapy developed by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. It incorporates elements from emotion-focused individual therapy (EFIT), parts work (Internal Family Systems and Voice Dialogue), hypnosis, meditation, mindfulness, and the non-dual wisdom.

I consider Fabiana one of the finest facilitators of the psychedelic journey because of three things, trust, compassion, and wisdom. The psychedelic experience in a non-ordinary state of consciousness is a place of surrender and vulnerability. As such, to get to that place requires a great deal of trust in the person who is facilitating the journey.
